2014 - 0313 - 以弗所書3
Paul, a prisoner of Christ for our sake, helps us understand the insight into the mystery of Christ. The mystery is the good news of Christ, where the gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, the church. God's intent: through the church, the wisdom of God may be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms. Paul prays for the church that God's glorious riches may strengthen the church with power through His spirit in our inner being, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. Being rooted and established in love, we may have power with our body of Christ to grasp the depth of Christ's love that far surpasses knowledge. To Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus.
2014 - 0227 - 以弗所書2
We were dead in our transgressions and sins, sort of like an infinite loop that we cannot get out on our own, but because of His great love and rich in mercy, He raised us up with Christ. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast." We are now fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief corner stone.
2014 - 0213 - 以弗所書1
Praise for a series of spiritual blessings. Adoption, redemption, God's purpose, privilege, sealing of spirit.
1. God works all things for his purpose.
2. Everything is fulfilled in Christ.
3. People live for the purpose of to the praise of His glory.
In Paul's prayer of thanksgiving, Paul also prays for the eyes of our heart to be enlightened so that we may know the hope to which He has called us, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe.

Peter continues his discussion on holy living for living as church members and officers. The elders are to be shepherds of God's flock, as God wants him to be. We are to be submissive to the elders and be humble towards each other. Above all, humble ourselves, under God’s mighty hand, so that he may lift us up in due time. Yet, we must be sober and alert, for our enemy the devil lurks around. By standing firm in the faith, we may resist him actively.
2013 - 1010 - 彼得前書4
Once again, Peter reminds us that we, as Christians, would suffer in this earthly life. This suffering is not just because of our own sins, but also from other non-believers who are not willing to confess their sinful lifestyles. The end is near, Christians should be vigilant and prayerful to prevent us from falling for false teachings. Most importantly, we should be loving each others to cover one another's short coming, and serve brothers and sisters with our gifts from the Lord until the day He comes.

Pursue holiness build on top of the foundation that Jesus Christ himself is the cornerstone and with it comes the spiritual blessings and privileges in Him so we become God's people and holy priest. The means of obtaining it, the word of God is recommended and all contrary qualities are condemned.
We also discuss as Christian how we should obey the authorities and are willing to sacrifice like Christ sacrificed for us but will stand for the weak and underprivileged.
